School of Law


      Developing from major of Law in the former Law and Economy School, School of Law has one bachelor’s degree programme, one university-level art key research base, namely Central Asia Law and Political Advisory Research Center, and also two master’s degree programmes of second-level discipline for Science of Civil and Commercial Law.

      At present, it is well staffed with 20 teachers, and postgraduates, adult undergraduate and college students 489 in total. Since establishment in 2001, School of Law has nurtured over 2000 talents, many of whom have become backbones in this field in Xinjiang, and thus it plays a key role for all-round development of science of law and society in Xinjiang. The favorable teaching resources and scientific research conditions help improve the teaching quality, implement teaching reform, advance the scientific research system with Central Asia law research as the core, improve talent training and scientific research capability.
